Discover Al Hamba Exhibition: A Mango Festival at Souq Waqif
From May 30th to June 8th, 2024, Souq Waqif in Doha, Qatar, was alive with the vibrant colors and enticing aromas of mangoes during the Al Hamba Exhibition. Organized by the Private Engineering Office (PEO) and inaugurated by Mr. Nasser Rashid Al Nuaimi, General Manager of PEO, alongside His Excellency Mr. Vipul, the Ambassador of India, this event celebrated the cultural richness shared between Qatar and India.
Visitors immersed themselves in a delightful showcase of diverse mango varieties and products, including fresh fruits and gourmet treats like mango cakes and preserves. The exhibition attracted immense interest, with the air-conditioned tent frequently reaching full capacity, prompting brief closures at its peak.
As the successful Exhibition concluded, it set the stage for the upcoming Pakistani Mango Exhibition, starting June 27th, 2024. This event not only highlighted the beloved mango but also fostered cultural exchange and community engagement. Souq Waqif continues to serve as a vibrant hub for international events, promoting global culinary diversity and enhancing diplomatic ties through shared cultural experiences.
